Newsweek reported that Saudi Arabia is looking to join the BRICS.

This is a huge factor given that Iran has already applied. As I discussed in previous posts, BRICS is an economic alliance of nationalist governments opposing the American empire and the globalists.
The Saudis have been a strong supporter of the American empire for 50 years (well, except when Bin Laden and friends attacked the US). Current ruler MBS won a court civil war against the globalist faction 5 years ago and had great relations with Trump. The Saudis support the American empire through the petrodollar, wherein all oil sales were in dollars, which created a stronger currency and allowed the US to spend without significant consequences.
The Saudis going along with Russia and China is absolutely huge. The Saudis we likely not be hostile to the US, but will not do US bidding either. We saw signs this was developing when Biden was rebuffed in requests to pump more oil.
That would be important enough, but Iran is already joining the BRICS. Iran and Saudis Arabia have been hostile since the Shah was deposed and Iranian backed revolutionaries attempted to overthrow the Saudis in the 70s.
The Saudis and Iran have fought a proxy war in Yemen for a decade.
And the Saudis and Iranians follow strongly opposed forms of Islam.
That Iran and Saudi Arabia can work together is a bigger deal than if Taiwan made an alliance with China.
The multipolar world is quickly taking shape. And the demise of the petrodollar could end the American hegemony and lead to economic turmoil.
Buckle up everyone. You are watching history unfold before your eyes.
