In a recent speech to the European Counsel on Foreign Relations, Fiona Hill claimed the US has been at war with Russia over Ukraine since the 2004 Orange Revolution. Ms. Hill became famous from her testimony at the 1st Trump impeachment trial, part of the Blob figures who claimed they, not the president, were in charge of setting US foreign policy towards Russia and Ukraine.
Ms. Hill was born and raised in northern English, and then attended university in Scotland before obtaining admission into Harvard and obtaining a PhD. She was not a US citizen on 9/11 but is now.
The Orange Revolution was the first of many “color revolutions”, most of which made the world a far worse place. Almost of all of them featured US NGOs (aka CIA fronts) and oligarchs like Soros or US tech guys causing a coup and calling it a great success for democracy.
Many of those Deep State figures who testified, all of which seemed rather inept, were color revolution specialists. This was a bipartisan neocon effort, with the goal of the humiliating defeat of Russia followed by a partition.
This is the playbook established by Zbigniew Brezkinski long ago. Brezkinski's family is from Gallacia, which is now western Ukraine, and many US Blob figures have family history to the area.
If we think of the US being at war with Russia over Ukraine for almost 20 years, then so much of what has happened over the last few years makes complete sense.
Biden was Obama's point man for Ukraine. Hunter used this for his own, and daddy's profit. Ukrainians interfered in the US 2016 election. Trump, by merely asking to look into the corruption, inadvertently threatened to expose the corruption, including the large number of now admitted US biolabs.
Hillary and Obama tried to reset the relationship after the tensions from the 2008 Georgian War. Bill got his payoffs. Obama promised more “flexibility” to Medvedev in his hot mic moment. And when Romney truthfully called out Russia as the US foe, Obama mocked him.
Yet all the US efforts were a facade. We truly worked to build up Ukraine against Russia during this whole time. Russia might not have been at war with the US, but the US was at war with Russia, developing a proxy to fight against Russia.
Ms Hill is correct in a way. The US has been at war with Russia for 18 years over Ukraine. However, US aggression caused this and continues to be the major factor.
